Profile On Interviewees (By Faye Callaghan)

Dj Will Boden

Gender: Male

Occupation: DJ

Reason to be interviewed: We have chosen to interview Will because he is a DJ, and also because he has played at big clubs and owned his own events (DJ & Promoted) so he knows the fashion high and low class well, being in the main stage of all clubs seeing the crowd. Also we chose him because of his DJ'ing experience in different areas of London and the world he has seen different cultures first hand so we would like to ask him if he thinks "Does Society Affect The Way You Dress?" statement is true.

Profile On Interviewees (By Faye Callaghan)

Keira Stone

Gender: Female

Occupation: Fashion Model

Reasons for being interviewed: The reason we have chosen to interview Keira is because she has been involved in the fashion industry for a long time working her way up from being a childrens clothing model to local catwalk shows mainly in shopping centres, but now working her way up to companies such as Ralph Lauren & Louie Vitton. This is a prime type of person we need to interview to find out the way in which she thinks the question "Does society effects the way you dress" really mean something. We will be asking about her person views and experiences living in the fashion lifestyle.

Weekly Update 7 (By Georgie Watters)

This week we managed to get the rest of our filming done, so now the editor can carrying on editing to finish of our documentry. For filming we had to split in duo's to get both interviews and the cutaways. By doing this we was successful as we managed to finish fliming in a day.

Possible Cutaways (By Zoe Woodstock)

We decided that the best possible cutaways we might use portray fashion and society. We came up with the following options:
  • Designer shops e.g. Topshop, River Island.
  • Catwalk footage.
  • Footage of a range of people in shopping malls for example.
These types of shots will correlate with the voice-over quite well and entice the audience into the topic better.

Location Research (Faye Callaghan)

For our location it was very vital to get the right place and setting. For our 1st interview we have chosen to use the office of our fashion teacher, we chose this because we felt it still had elements of fashion in the background with the posters and the way she was dressed also accented fashion.

For our second & third interview we will be filming in a house because it was a much easier location for the interviewees to get to as it was in their own house and they felt more comfortable filming this way.

For our forth and fifth interview we have again decided to film on college campus as our interviewees are students and teachers here again and we can use the various props that represent fashion around the room in which they are based and create the best setting, environment and place we can for it to be filmed.
